Full-stack Developer

The role

As a full-stack developer at Bitvis you build the services behind Power Flow. That can be APIs, integrations with energy companies' systems, logic in the cloud or interfaces that the team and the customer actually use.

You own problems from idea to live operations. When something breaks or needs to scale, you help solve it rather than handing it off.

What you do

• Build and maintain backend and frontend services in the platform
• Connect the app, hub, Dashboard and external systems
• Write code others can read, test and deploy
• Debug in production and improve what is already running
• Work closely with product and design so that what is built is actually used

You will fit here if

• You like owning the whole chain, not just a small slice
• You enjoy digging into how things fit together, from data to UI
• You can say when something is too complicated or too loosely defined
• You want to see what you write used by real customers

Useful experience

• Experience of web development in a product company or similar environment
• Familiarity with Java/Kotlin, TypeScript/React or the equivalent
• A grasp of databases, APIs and how to deploy without drama
• Interest in energy, IoT or systems that have to keep working in production

We use a mix of Java, Spring, TypeScript, React Native, PostgreSQL and AWS, among other technologies. You do not need to know all of it from day one.

How we work

We are based in Linköping and like being in the office, but hybrid working is possible. You work closely with people in hardware, product and support. The best moments are when something you talked about over coffee shows up in the app or in a customer's home a few weeks later.
